Chef demos are sponsored by
Piedmont Hospital
Before joining the Fifth Group Restaurants team in 2004, Chef Brent Banda honed his skills at some of NYC’s best joints (Maialino, Esca, and Hearth). We’re glad his talents are back home in Atlanta, where he can share his fresh, seasonal dishes at Fifth Group's midtown seafood restaurant, Lure (just prior to Lure, Banda was executive chef at their award-winning Italian spot, La Tavola). Stop by and see him this Saturday at market, then plan to visit him at Lure, where it's patio season year-round!

Live Artist Demonstration by Dozfy
We are honored to welcome local legend Dozfy, who has created art all over the city, to feature his live artwork during the market. Come watch him craft a masterpiece this Saturday.

Your Happy Nest Kids Activities
Your Happy Nest will be at the market all morning to help your little ones make crafty leaf turkeys; and they'll be reading The Night Before Thanksgiving for story time at 9:45 a.m.

COUNTRY Financial
Don't miss this week's demo with Craig Richards, chef de cuisine at Ford Fry’s latest hit restaurant, St. Cecilia. With a culinary pedigree that began with Pachamama’s in Kansas, then training with the “first lady of Italian cuisine,” Lidia Bastianich, and working as executive chef at Lidia’s in Pittsburgh, Richards knows how to create fresh, crave-worthy dishes. His Atlanta journey has included La Tavola Trattoria and Ecco before heading down the road to Buckhead for St. Cecilia, where he delivers tasty coastal European fare. Stop by this Saturday to see chef Richards' summer tips and tricks!

Holy Comforter Middle School Arts Program
Also this Saturday, check out The Friendship Center Arts Program, who will have representatives on hand to share about this initiative at Holy Comforter Church. The arts program offers a supportive studio environment that fosters creativity, self-direction, and mutual encouragement. A part-time arts director and a corps of volunteers offer skilled one-on-one instruction in painting, ceramics, woodworking, fiber arts, photography, and stained glass. Instruction caters to all ability levels, and the artists may sell their work at church and community art festivals. This program, with its individualized instruction, its freedom to pursue creative projects, and the opportunity for the artists to show and sell their work, instills a sense of confidence and self-worth.
