Peter Dale | The National
Chef Peter Dale was born and raised in Athens, GA. After apprenticing with Hugh Acheson at Five and Ten and holding an internship at La Broche in Madrid, Spain, Peter and Hugh opened The National in 2007 in a former Athens 1950s Plymouth dealership. Drawing inspiration from food and wine the chefs have enjoyed in Europe, The National's changing menu reflects the seasons and vibrant produce of Northeast Georgia, while also nodding to Mediterranean culinary tradition. In 2012, Dale was named Food & Wine magazine's "The People's Best New Chef Southeast." In 2014, he opened Seabear Oyster Bar and Condor Chocolates, both in Athens. Save yourself a road trip (for this Saturday, at least) by checking out Chef Dale under the demo tents at PRFM.
Also at PRFM this Saturday, enjoy live music by Fiddles of November. Think cool thoughts, y'all.
Wednesday, July 27
Every Wednesday from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., take a break to grab a beer, dinner, and restock your fridge with items from your favorite vendors. Also, we're a PokéStop! Join us for a Pokémon Go Meetup this Wednesday night. And while the Cathedral Pokéstop respawns, grab some dinner from our vendors, a brew from Terrapin Beer (featuring Maggie's Peach Farmhouse Ale, Mosaic Red Rye IPA, and Sound Czech Pils), and listen to live music by He Sang She Sang!
