The PRFM Increases access to fresh, local food
By supporting the local food pantry, Intown Cares
in a number of ways listed below
During Lent, we are collecting food to support neighbors in our community experiencing food insecurity. Intown Cares serves more than 500 households at its food pantry every week. The items requested for the drive are those which are asked for frequently by pantry guests, but rising food costs/availability make them difficult for Intown Cares to keep in stock. Let’s come together to stock Intown’s shelves in this season of almsgiving!
1st Saturday, March 8: Peanut Butter
2nd Saturday, March 15: Instant coffee
3rd Saturday, March 22: Protein bars
4th Saturday, March 29: Fruit cups
5th Saturday, April 5: Shelf-stable milk
6th Saturday, April 12: Canned fruit
Please do not donate expired food. Drop off donations to the information booth on Saturdays
1.) In 2022 we started the program “Rescued Crops to Feed Our Neighbors”.

During the 2024 Season, we spent $33,891.25 and purchased 17,492 pounds of fresh produce that were donated to feed our neighbors at Intown Cares.
2.) Serving as a Food Drive Drop off location. Bring donations to Info Booth on Saturdays 8:30am-12:00pm.
3.)Customers buy fresh produce from our farmers every Saturday at market to donate.
