The PRFM Increases access to fresh, local food
By supporting the local food pantry, Intown Cares
in a number of ways listed below
1.) In 2022 we started the program โRescued Crops to Feed Our Neighborsโ.
Weekly the Market buys crops from our farmers at the end of market to donate to a local food pantry, Intown Cares.
During the 2023 Season, we spent close to $31,000 and purchased 11,850 pounds of fresh produce that were donated to feed our neighbors at Intown Cares.
2.) Serving as a Food Drive Drop off location. Bring donations to Info Booth on Saturdays 8:30am-12:00pm.
3.)Customers buy fresh produce from our farmers every Saturday at market to donate.
4.) Hygiene Kit Builds at Market for those experiencing homelessness
