Kid's Costume Swap Final.png

October 12 - EXTENDED TO OCTober 19!

There’s still time to swap! As a way to promote a “green” Halloween, we encourage you to donate your clean and gently used children’s costumes for our Costume Swap! Drop off your costumes on Saturday mornings at the market from Sept. 21 - Oct. 11th, or during the week in the collection bins in the Atrium at the Cathedral of St. Philip. The Cathedral Thrift House will help us sort them by size and sell them for just $5 at the market on October 12th. Each costume sold helps us cover the cost of accepting and doubling SNAP (food stamp) benefits at the market to provide fresh food for all!

Our Annual Halloween Parade will take place October 26th at 11:00am. Wear your “new” costume from the Costume Swap and enjoy free face painting, balloon animals, and a special visit from Witchenstein before the parade! BJ Abraham of the Southern Order of Storytellers will be telling slightly “scawy” stories to tingle your spines (but only a teeny bit!) at 9:15am.

NOVEMBER 10 - SUNDAY SUPPER!

At our Annual Sunday Supper, we bring in exceptional chefs from around the city, partner them up with a farmer, and provide guests with a truly farm-to-table potluck experience. This dinner provides an opportunity for our market guests to eat, drink, mix and mingle with the chefs and farmers that make small-scale agriculture one part of the solution to creating local food systems that provide nutritious, sustainable and wholesome food to the communities they serve. With seasonal flavors, live music, beer, wine and signature cocktails, enjoy the bounty that a Southern Autumn provides and join us for our Sunday Supper.

November 30 & December 14

Our Holiday Artists Markets will take place November 30th and December 14th. Our largest markets of the year include 30 additional artists to help you prepare for the holidays. Not only can you make this a one-stop shopping experience to stock up on fresh fruits, veggies and pasture-raised proteins for your dinner plans, but you’ll also be supporting local artists and artisans!

Every week through December 14th, there will be a raffle for our patrons who walk, bike, run or use alternative modes of transportation to get to the market. The raffle winner will be contacted at the end of the market every Saturday and will receive a FREE MYSTERY BAG from one of our vendors. Just stop by the information tent to enter! Thanks for saving a parking space for your neighbors and keeping our air a little bit clearer.
